Vladimir Putin has supported decrease in the VAT for fruit to 10%

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has approved reduction in tax for the value added (VAT) for fruit to 10. Vedomosti portal newspaper write with reference to the statement of the Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Gordeev after the meeting on agricultural questions under the chairmanship of Putin in Mineralnye Vody.

The president has also unambiguously supported the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev on release of landowners from payment of the VAT for the received state subsidies. "Such form of the taxation has to come into force since January 1, 2019. The rule assumes return of the VAT to agricultural producers after payment", - it is said in material.
