WHAT PRICE INCREASES EXPERTS PREDICT IN 2021

The general director of the Expert RA rating agency Sergey Tishchenko in an interview with RIA Novosti answered a question that concerns the entire business community of the Russian Federation. Namely, what price increases to expect in 2021. "The rate of price growth in Russia this year will quickly return to the Central Bank's goal of 4% from the December level of 4.9%, and most of the year will be in the range of 3-3.5%," he explained.

Experts from the Ministry of Economic Development and the Bank of Russia adhere to approximately the same version of events. According to the expectations of the Central Bank, the price growth rate in 2021 will be 3.5-4%, and the Ministry of Economic Development predicts inflation at the level of 3.7%. Recall that according to Rosstat, inflation in Russia in 2020 amounted to 4.91% against 3.04% a year earlier.
