According to the head Anna Popova's Rospotrebnadzor department plans to introduce to the Government of the Russian Federation the draft which prescribes punishment for falsification of food products.

"Firstly we plan to proceed in the government the change of the Code on falsification. Unfortunately, there is no concept of falsification … in the administrative and criminal code at all, and there is no administrative and criminal penalty for it too" — Popova said during the meeting of the Federation Council Committee for Social Policy.

According to her, the concept of a counterfeit and a concept of a counterfeit differ as modern chemical industry is capable to make so that production had the same consumer properties, however it will be falsification.

The head of Rospotrebnadzor also noted imperfection of the legislation in a question of delivery of permissions to installation of stations 4G as since 2011, according to Popova, any organizations which obtained accreditation can carry out expert hygienic assessment, necessary for obtaining permission.
