WHAT PROSPECTS FOR EXPORT OF RUSSIAN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS IN 2021? EXPERT OPINION.

In an interview with reporters of the Publishing House SPHERE, experts discussed the prospects for exporting Russian agricultural products for 2021. Dmitry Rylko (General Director of the Institute of Agricultural Market Research (ICAR)) and Natalya Bakhova (Director of the Trade Financing Department of the Moscow Credit Bank (ICB)) presented their forecasts for 2021:

- Those resources and reserves that lay on the surface are largely exhausted, the grain harvest in 2021 is likely to be lower. There are also export problems for oilseeds: export duties will have a rather serious effect, "explains Dmitry Rylko.

Natalya Bakhova believes that a small growth in exports is possible, which will be facilitated by an increase in state support. So in 2021, 47.3 billion rubles are already planned to finance the project "Export of agro-industrial products," and in 2020 29.7 billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget. For these purposes. Among the measures to support exports, according to Bakhova, companies in the oil and fat, dairy and meat industries are most in demand for export letters of credit and factoring. Pre- and post-export financing, as well as discounting of export letters of credit, remain priority products for grain raiders and the fishing industry.
